Catch began his career with great promise in the jumper ring. As a young horse in Germany, Catch earned top marks in his stallion testing. Catch’s final jumping weighted score in the Münster-Handorf sport test was a thrilling 9.73, a mark without precedence in a stallion performance test. He was given 9.6 on canter and technique, 9.8 on ability and rideability and 10.0 on overall impression. He went on to win the 4-year-old State Championship. Catch continued to impress in the jumper ring as his natural scope, powerful canter, and rideability made him a standout. Since being imported to the United States, Catch has successfully transitioned to the hunter arena, where his expressive movement, careful technique, and composed presence have proven ideal for the discipline. Now competing in hunter derbies, he showcases the versatility and elegance that make him both a top performer and a valuable breeding stallion.

Christer had a successful Grand Prix and breeding career in Europe. In the US, he has been campaigned in the Green Conformation Hunters 3'6" and Amateur Owner Hunters 3'6" divisions. He was later sold to a top Hunter rider and shows under the name Forever Romance. He continues to be successful on the East Coast, including a strong showing at the 2025 WEF Winter Circuit.

Winning both the Classic Hunter Style round (with a score of 92) and the Playoff Handy round (with a score of 94.5), for an impressive overall average of 93.25.
