Christer is a 2014 Holsteiner stallion licensed with the Holsteiner Verband and named both a Premium Stallion and Reserve Champion at the 2016 Holsteiner Licensing in Germany — one of the most competitive approvals in the sport horse world. 

Standing at 1.66 m, Christer combines elegant type, intelligent character, and proven international bloodlines.  He descends from proven Holsteiner performance lines, combining power, scope, and modern refinement. His dam, Bona, was awarded Staatsprämie (State Premium), a prestigious title awarded to top-quality mares in German warmblood breeding systems. It’s a mark of excellence indicating that the mare meets very high standards for conformation, movement, pedigree, and performance testing.  His pedigree blends explosive jumping ability, refined technique, and rideability, with multiple sires who reached the top levels of sport.

Christer is fully approved by the Holsteiner Verband and is confirmed WFFS N/N, making him a responsible and versatile choice for breeders aiming to produce performance horses with sound genetic foundations.

His early sport career included success at 1.40 m FEI level under Nina Fagerström (FIN), followed by a successful transition to the hunter ring in the U.S., competing in the 3'6" Green Conformation and Amateur Owner Hunters. He now competes as Forever Romance, with notable results at the 2025 WEF Winter Circuit. He has consistently dominated amateur-owner and performance hunter rings, proving himself a reliable and polished partner for top riders. His record includes:

• Multiple championships at WEF 2025 in U/S, handy, and flat divisions

• Multiple circuit wins on both coasts (Wellington & Desert Park)
